SCROLL DOWN

Epiphany Farms

"Inspiring the Action" - Ken Myszka

Epiphany Farms Enterprise (EFE) is a “Farm to Fork” concept that practices sustainable, beyond organic, environmentally friendly techniques.  EFE harnesses ideas from a wide range of agricultural theories, such as permaculture and intensive pasture rotation, to cultivating a multitude of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and animals. We are pioneering a new food system frontier by blending our farm and restaurants to create one, self-sustaining organism. Firmly rooted within our Central Illinois community, we are actively engaged in reconnecting our neighbors to their food's source, while nurturing a better understanding of food, health, and wellbeing. Every day we strive to produce something not only that customers enjoy, but also believe in.

Tour the Farm

Tour the Farm

Our Chefarmers have been working hard this summer to get the farm in tip-top shape in order to launch our new farm tour platform, complete with cocktail hour!   Every Saturday during the growing season cocktail hour begins at 2:30 pm with a cash bar, featuring cocktails craftfully made with farm fresh ingredients, and is followed by a farm tour beginning at 3:00 pm with our Farm Director.  Be one of the first to have an in depth, behind the scenes look at where our delicious produce and protein is cultivated.  The farm tour has a suggested donation of $10.00 to help us invest back into the farm's infrastructure to keep making improvements.  We ask that you kindly RSVP via the link below.  If you have any questions, please email contact@epiphanyfarms.com or call (309)828-2323.  Additionally, please familiarize yourself with our Tour and Visitor Policy below to make sure you are prepared for your afternoon on the farm.

Tour Guide & Visitor Policy

Epiphany Farms is a working farm that stays in business by being productive through important daily tasks and accomplishing time sensitive projects. We would love to spend time with every visitor, but it is very difficult for us to stop our daily chores and greet guests in the middle of a normal business day on the farm. For this reason, we have an educational farm tour schedule & a visitor policy to make sure everyone's welcomed upon their arrival and has a quality time at Epiphany Farms.

EDUCATIONAL TOURS: Epiphany Farms opens its doors to the public during the growing season (June - October) to share our techniques & production systems. This year, 2015, we are hosting educational tours every Saturday at 3:00 pm, with cocktails and a cash bar starting at 2:30 pm.  Please wear sturdy, closed toed shoes for your tour, and bring a hat or sun protection.  Parking for the farm is located before you cross the bridge or along the road.  Please walk over the bridge, and someone will be in front of the barns to greet you.

OPEN DOOR POLICY: Epiphany Farms practices an open door policy for all guests at our farm.  We have a transparent operation and will do our best to accommodate tour inquiries.

Epiphany Farms is a working farm. As such, heavy duty farming equipment, live animals, electrified fences, and other such hazards inherent to farming activities exist on the property and may pose a danger to our visitors. We plan our day tightly with important projects that we need to accomplish on a daily basis which makes it difficult to stop to greet guests unless the visit is planned accordingly and given enough time to make schedule available. Therefore, we require all visitors to contact our office and arrange a visit if they are unable to make it to one of the previously scheduled Saturday tours.

Please contact our office at 309-828-2323 or contact@epiphanyfarms.com.

HARVEST FEAST: Once a year, Epiphany Farms presents a farm feast event with limited availability. Tickets will be on sale one month prior to the event via our online STORE. In previous years, we hosted this event with special wine & beer pairings in the middle of September. There will be an extensive farm tour given by our Chefarmer and a fresh dinner prepared, utilizing the daily harvest and accompanied by live music.

VOLUNTEERS: Epiphany Farms welcomes volunteers who want to have a hands-on experience with sustainable farming. Please apply on our website (www.epiphanyfarms.com/volunteer) and let us know your story.  Once you submit your volunteer application, someone from the office will contact you to schedule your volunteer orientation.  For more information, please call the office at (309)828-2323.
